Festival Art Souterrain - 17th Edition

Until April 6, immerse yourself in art and culture with the Festival Art Souterrain. For its 17th edition, titled “Habitat”, the festival will showcase unexpected works with an environmental theme. To be explored in the lobby of 1 PVM.

About the Exhibition

The challenges faced by our contemporary societies question not only our environment but also our way of inhabiting and designing the spaces around us. How do we define habitat? Is it the structures we create? Or the spaces of closeness and trust that we form within them? The 17th edition of the Festival Art Souterrain is an opportunity to explore our relationship with intimate life and the way we inhabit a world in profound transformation.

Curators Geneviève Thibault and Eric Millette examine the multiple facets of modern habitat, exploring its human, social, and environmental dimensions. Whether through photography, video, installation, sculpture, or performance, the invited artists address and contribute to shaping a future where habitat reflects the values of creativity, sustainability, and inclusion.
