This winter, the Esplanade PVM lights up with the LUMINO Series in collaboration with the Quartier des spectacles. Discover Éloge de l’air, one of the two luminous installations, until March 9, 2025.
Éloge de l’air is a fusion of two objects, the banner and the swing that together create a surrealistic and poetic third object. Comprising nine statuesque swings, the installation
brings enormous banners to life through your swinging, which you can do alone or as a duo. During the day, the banners capture and reflect light in shimmering gold and silver tones, putting on a show that changes with the intensity of your movement. At night, the installation takes on a magical air as beams of light illuminate the flags and frames, creating a captivating and mystical dance of lights. The murmuring of the wind and the fluttering of the banners create a poetic and meditative ambiance that transports you on a sensory journey.
